MOTO is using 10EaZy at Tivoli in downtown copenhagen
10EaZy at the Roskilde Festival 2007
Copenhagen based PA and audio provider “MOTO Rentals” has been a 10EaZy user since spring 2007. MOTO has an impressive rooster of clients ranging from national chart acts and major festivals such as Roskilde to the Danish National Radio. MOTO is also the main provider of audio to the national amusement park Tivoli. Every Friday thru the summer Tivoli presents national and international headliners. Due to the location of Tivoli in the downtown area of Copenhagen, strict dB limitations are enforced.
10EaZy developed a special edition of the software to accommodate these requirements.
Head of rentals at MOTO, Mr. Leif Roden, explains: “Before we got 10EaZy we where often faced with a challenge of sound engineers who refused to obey the dB rules, and thus we spend a lot of time acting as “dB police”. One of the main factors to this discussion often arose from the small sound level meters which where available. In bright daylight it was virtually impossible to see the level. With the clear indication of the 10EaZy screen there is no way to say that you don’t know you’re above the level, and we spend a lot less time discussing sound levels in the last season than we did the previous years. Additionally we also greatly reduced the amount of times concerts went above the limit.”
